SURVEI DAN SKRINING PENCEGAHAN STUNTING PADA REMAJA

Abstract
Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that can be experienced by teenagers, especially young women, and has a negative impact on health. This research aims to conduct a survey and screening for stunting prevention among adolescents in Padukuhan Pungkuran Pleret. The research is quantitative with a cross-sectional design and involves all teenagers in the area as the research population, using a total sampling method. The instrument used was a Google Form-based questionnaire, consisting of questions regarding knowledge and efforts to prevent stunting. Data were processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS, with univariate data analysis. The screening results showed that 8 respondents had normal nutritional status, while the other three experienced malnutrition and excess nutrition. Stunting in adolescents is related to failure to grow due to lack of nutritional intake in the First 1000 Days of Life (HPK), which can have an impact on development during adolescence. Malnutrition in teenagers can hamper intelligence, reduce body endurance, and reduce productivity. Risk factors for stunting in adolescents include low protein and zinc intake, socio-economic conditions, the habit of not eating breakfast, and strict diet patterns, as well as other factors such as maternal education, maternal height, exclusive breastfeeding, child's age, and weight history. Low birth weight (LBW).
